Pedernales river, pretty swollen, at LBJ National Park. Johnson had an amphibious car that looked like a normal sedan, and the story is that he loved to take his guests out driving on his Texas ranch, then drive straight into the river, giving them the scare of their life. Looking at this river, I can imagine that. June 30, 2007.
