Photo of the Day #1446: Blaine Hill “S” bridge in Blane, Ohio. This bridge was originally part of the National Road. The “S” bridges were constructed to cross the water at a right angle. The bridge on the right (the Blaine Hill Viaduct) now carries the traffic of the successor of the National Road: US-40. May 14, 2012.
